On June 6th the European Elections will take place. Anyone with Dutch citizenship can vote, as well as citizens from other EU member states who live in The Netherlands. But voting for elections in a foreign country isn’t always straight-forward: what are the requirements and deadlines to register as a voter? What are the Dutch political parties and what do they stand for? And what policy is decided in the EU and how does it affect our lives?
GroenLinks-PvdA is a coalition of the Green and Labour party, running jointly in elections at the various levels of Dutch politics. We invite you to join us for an English-speaking informal evening where you can explore how you can participate in these elections and ask questions to two of our candidates. After the Q&A you’re welcome to stay for a drink and further discussions with all participants.
People of all nationalities and political affiliations are welcome! The event is free and registration is not required.
